Block 2

The questions: "Why is this so?" "What if...?" "Someone once told me that..." The answer: "Experience it for yourself and understand it better afterwards." That, in a nutshell, is the goal of the live mixing workshop.

Whether it's the basics of PA system design, tips and tricks for planning and using radio links, the finer points of miking a typical live band and, of course, a detailed look at the working methods of FOH and monitor mixing - all this is not only explained here, but you can experience it live.

Our partners Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik, Shure, Yamaha, and d&b audiotechnik, supported by experts Markus Eichhofer, Oli Voges, and Nils Uhthoff, invite all young and young-at-heart sound engineers to come and watch and listen, whether from on stage or in front of it. As a special treat, we will once again be demonstrating many experiments that would not be possible in a real job. Would you like a small example? What happens when you simply turn off the PA or monitors?
