Cable winding is super easy! Or is it?
In Marcel Remy's free workshop at tmt33, you can expect a mix of theory and practice on how to wind cables correctly. The advantages and disadvantages of the over-over and over-under techniques will be discussed, and of course, the absolute no-gos will also be addressed. You will also receive valuable tips and tricks on maintenance, the use of cable ties, and options for color-coding cables and connectors. There will be plenty of time to try out the techniques demonstrated for yourself.
The unassembled high-quality practice microphone cables (approx. 10 meters, type NF-WY) are kindly provided by our sustaining member and tmt33 exhibitor Perivox and can be taken home by participants afterwards.
